We are the only Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) accredited Small Animal Hospital in Doncaster. Pam has worked at Beechwood since 1987 and qualified as RVN in 1995, becoming head nurse in 2010. She has a keen interest in geriatric care in dogs and cats and has owned and cared for quite a few over the years. Pam enjoys the pharmacy aspect of veterinary nursing and also enjoys making all sorts of craft work to raise funds for our dedicated charity. Out side of work Pam enjoys caring for her numerous pets which include two rescue dogs, two cats, four old terrapins, two cockatiels, three budgies and the occasional overwintering hedgehog.
Claire Robinson BA (Hons) DipHECVN Dip AVN RVN
Advanced Registered Veterinary Nurse (Diploma)
Claire qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2013. She has completed the Advance Diploma HE in Clinical Veterinary Nursing. Claire has a particular interest in theatre work and heads the surgical nursing team. Claire is also the main nurse involved in our CT and MRI scanning service. In her spare time she enjoys riding her horse, Mischief and looking after her cats Nigel and Tilly.
Rachel Morgan RVN
Rachel joined Beechwood as a trainee veterinary nurse in January 1999 and qualified in 2002. Since this time she has developed a keen interest in orthopaedic surgery and regularly assists veterinary surgeon Mark Straw with his procedures in theatre. Rachel has also trained as a clinical coach which means she can guide student veterinary nurses through their studies. Outside of work, Rachel is the proud of owner of a Golden Retriever called Jazz and they often enjoy going for long walks in the countryside together.
Carlie Rodwell RVN
Carlie studied at Askham Bryan College and trained at a veterinary practice in Grimsby. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in August 2017 and joined Beechwood Vets shortly after. Her main interests within practice are wound management, radiography and surgical nursing. She has two very bouncy dogs Billy a Weimaraner and Millie a German Pointer and a dwarf hamster, Mini. Out of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Zoe started working as a nursing assistant in 2013 and began studying veterinary nursing in April 2017. She joined Beechwood Veterinary Hospital shortly after beginning her training in order to develop her skills in a hospital setting. Zoe enjoys working with animals and has four dogs and rabbit, who make fabulous patients.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Lisa is currently studying towards a level three diploma in veterinary nursing to become a qualified veterinary nurse. She has a particular interest in behaviour. She enjoys walking her dogs in the local countryside and taking them sheepherding.
